Ticket and Event Guidelines
Have question: Just call Hear Youth Movement of Maryland, Inc. at (301) 552-2050 and week day between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: Ticket orders received at least 12 days prior to a program will be mailed to you. Order received less than 12 days prior will not be mailed – They will be held for you at the door of the event. If you order tickets for more than one program, and we receive the order less than 12 days before the first event, the entire order will be held for you at the door of the first event.
CHANGES IN PUBLISHED EVENT SCHEDULES:
Occasionally, we must change the time, date, or location of a program after an announcement has been published or tickets have been mailed. Our office notifies participants by phone and mail. If you are uncertain about where and when a program is to take place, please call the Hear Youth Program at (301) 552-2050 during business hours.
TO REGISTER AT THE DOOR:
Tickets are available (on a first-come, first-serve basis) at the door of some Hear Youth events. Please call (301) -552-2050 to be sure the event is not already sold out.
MOVING? Please send address changes to: Hear Youth Movement of Maryland, Inc., P.O. Box 1333, Greenbelt, M.D. 20768-1333, Address Change. Include you Hear Youth mailing label and allow at least 6 weeks for the change to take effect.
PHOTOGRAPHING AND RECORDING EVENTS:
Participants in Hear Youth activities may be photographed or videotaped for the education and promotional purposes of the Hear Youth Movement of Maryland, Inc. Taping and/or photographing by participants at Hear Youth Events is not permitted.
IF AN EVENT IS CANCELD:
Because of low enrollment or because the artist/ keynote presenter for a one-time only event is unable to appear, you will receive a full refund. If an individual event is cancelled for inclement weather, a credit is automatically applied to your account, to be used within 12 months for a program in a comparable category and price (e.g., one time only, study tour)
IF AN EVENT IS FILLED:
Before we receive your reservation, (a) you will not be charged if you paid by credit card. However, if you sent a check or money order, HYMMD accounting procedures require that it be cased. A full refund by HYMMD check is automatically processed. (b) your name is placed on a notification list for the filled event. If a vacancy occurs, people of this list are notified in order of receipt of their application. If a filled event is later rescheduled applicants on the notification list receive a mailing prior to any announcement in the Hear Youth Newsletter. In the case of filled overnight tours, a $100 deposit is required to ensure your place on the tour notification list. If no vacancy, the deposit is refunded after the tour takes place.
